Bualo Network Admin Tools for NAS (BN-ADT/NAS) User Manual

3 Setup

Introduction

Update your TeraStations to the latest rmware before using them with BN-ADT/

NAS. Minimum rmware versions are listed below.

TS-XL/R5, TS-RXL/R5, TS-WXL/R1,

TS-WXL/1D, TS-XEL/R5, TS-XHL/R6...................................................................Firmware version 1.40 or later

TS-HTGL/R5, TS-RHTGL/R5...................................................................................Firmware version 1.35 or later

WS-QL/R5...................................................................................................................Firmware version 1.10 or later

WS-WVL/R1, WS-QVL/R5, WS-6VL/R5, WS-RVL/R5,

TS-WVHL/R1, TS-QVHL/R6, TS-6VHL/R6, TS-8VHL/R6, TS-RVHL/R6

TS5200D, TS5400D, TS5600D, TS5800D, TS5400R.......................................Firmware version 1.00 or later

• If using a WS-QL/R5 rmware version earlier than version 1.10, update the Client

Util Service to the latest version.

• With older rmware, detected devices will be shown in the Network Map, but BN-

ADT/NAS functions may not be available.

• Firmware versions older than those shown above cannot use the Update

Firmware function in BN-ADT/NAS to update the rmware.

• Bualo network storage products not supported by BN-ADT/NAS are also

detected and shown on the Network Map window, but operation of BN-ADT/NAS

functions with these devices is not guaranteed.

• If using the TS-HTGL/R5 or TS-RHTGL/R5, the TeraStation rmware cannot be

updated in BN-ADT/NAS.
